Luna Fashion House Essentials is the foundational collection: the pieces a Luna wardrobe is built from. The edit covers tailored blazers, wide-leg trousers, silk and crepe blouses, fitted knit tops, midi-length wrap and shift dresses, and core outerwear. Built for women over forty who want a working closet of pieces that combine cleanly and last.
The Essentials cover six categories. Blazers: the Natasha sand-beige, the Alexa navy, and the Lola white. Trousers: the Agatha high-waisted wide-leg pants in black and the Greta wide-leg pants in navy. Blouses: the Lola business blouse and the Lucy draped blouse in ivory. Daytime dresses: the Olga wrap dress in navy. Outerwear: the Clara wool trench coat in navy blue.
Construction follows the same atelier standards as the rest of Luna. Wool and wool-blend tailoring, silk and crepe blouses, viscose linings, French seams on finer fabrics, hook-and-bar trouser closures with internal button reinforcement, fully lined jackets. The difference with Essentials is color discipline: every piece is offered in core neutrals (black, navy, ivory, sand-beige) rather than seasonal colors. Sizes XS to 3XL.
For a starting wardrobe, the Essentials are a coordinated build path. Begin with one blazer, one trouser, two blouses, and the trench. Add a daytime wrap dress. From this five-piece base, twenty outfits combine across business, daytime, and casual contexts. Replacement and addition follow the same logic across years: the same blazer in a second color, a second trouser cut, a second blouse in a complementary tone. Read Seven quiet ways European women dress differently for the foundational style logic and Power dressing for women for the working-wardrobe build.
