Description

The Isidora Long Textured Coat in Mocha is a long double-breasted coat in European cotton blend with stretch and woven jacquard texture, finished with structured shoulders, defined waist, decorative buttons, flap pockets, and adjustable sleeve tabs. The piece is built for daily executive wear in cool transitional weather, theater and gallery arrivals where a long line photographs more sophisticated than short, and the woman in sizes 6 and up who wants outerwear that creates an hourglass rather than a column.

Fabric
European cotton blend with stretch (55 percent polyester, 35 percent cotton, 10 percent elastane) and woven jacquard texture, finished with double-breasted closure meticulously cut to elongate the figure, structured shoulders that frame the upper line, defined waist for the hourglass effect, decorative buttons, flap pockets, and adjustable sleeve tabs. The jacquard texture is woven into the fabric at the loom, giving depth to the mocha hue and catching light in soft sculptural patterns. The 10 percent elastane allows the structured silhouette to move with the body without crushing or losing shape across long days. Handcrafted in the Luna atelier in Pozarevac, Serbia, in limited batches. Designed in Europe. Ships from California.

Fit
The Isidora runs true to size with an hourglass cut through the waist. For a defined shape, take your true size; the structured construction does the work. Between sizes, take the smaller. Double-breasted closure, adjustable sleeve tabs. Refer to the Luna sizing guide for measurements. Model is 5 foot 9 inches wearing size 4.

Styling
Over the Aria Jumpsuit in Black for the long-lean evening pivot where the mocha coat reads warm against the architectural bodice.
Over the Mila Draped Midi Dress in Abstract Taupe for fully coordinated warm-palette executive dressing across the silhouette.
Open over the Lucy Draped Blouse in Ivory tucked into the Barbara Wide-Leg Pants in Black for soft-formal weekday styling.
Or over the Lucy Jacquard Midi Dress in Midnight Blue for warm-cool restaurant arrival contrast where the long coat carries the photograph.
With the Agatha High-Waisted Wide-Leg Pants in Ivory for tonal mocha-and-cream executive daily dressing.
Carried with the Melissa Structured Shoulder Bag for theater arrivals where a structured bag complements the long coat line.
Coordinate metal tone consistently: gold and pearl read warm and traditional with the mocha jacquard; silver shifts the look modern against the textured weave.

Care
European cotton blend with stretch (55 percent polyester, 35 percent cotton, 10 percent elastane). May be gently hand-washed in cold water. Professional dry cleaning recommended for the finest results. Do not tumble dry; lay flat or hang to preserve fabric shape. Iron or steam at low temperature only. Do not bleach. Hang on a wide padded hanger; the structured shoulders need space. Cedar bags during summer storage.

What is the jacquard texture and why is it part of the design?
The jacquard texture is woven into the fabric at the loom, not printed or embossed onto plain fabric. The texture catches light in soft sculptural patterns and gives the mocha hue depth that flat solid mocha cannot. Woven texture survives years of wear; embossed texture flattens within 30 to 50 wearings. This is one of the construction details that separates investment outerwear from generic long coats.
Why does the hourglass cut matter on a long coat?
Most long coats read as a column; they elongate the figure but eliminate definition at the waist, which is why they often look bulky on women who are not naturally rectangular. The Isidora is meticulously cut to create the hourglass effect: structured shoulders frame the upper line, defined waist creates the indent, the long line below extends from the indent rather than from the shoulder. The result is a long coat that elongates and defines simultaneously.
What are adjustable sleeve tabs?
Sleeve tabs are buttoned fabric tabs at the cuff that allow the wearer to adjust the cuff width to her wrist. The Isidora sleeve tabs serve two purposes: practical fit adjustment and visual finish detail. Sleeve tabs are an atelier construction detail that distinguishes the Isidora from cuffless long coats.
Why a cotton-polyester-elastane blend?
The 35 percent cotton holds the structural silhouette and the woven jacquard pattern. The 55 percent polyester adds wrinkle recovery and shape retention; structured long coats in pure cotton crush at the elbows and hip and require constant pressing. The 10 percent elastane allows the hourglass silhouette to move with the body; the cut would not work in a non-stretch fabric. The blend is engineered for the silhouette.
How is this different from the Kim Classic Long Coat in Beige?
Color, fabric, and silhouette intent. The Kim is soft-touch premium polyester in warm beige (drape-focused, cashmere-adjacent hand). The Isidora is jacquard-textured cotton blend in mocha (texture-focused, hourglass cut). Both are transitional long coats; they cover different aesthetic intents.
How should I size?
European-inspired fit; most clients size down one. The 10 percent elastane gives natural movement.
What is the return policy?
A 14-day return window applies.
