Description
The Jody Tailored Lace Blazer in Midnight Green is a structured blazer in botanical fiber lace over a fine knit, in a deep forest green, for the woman who wants color at a winter gala without the holiday costume. A floral lace collar opens to a V, the long sleeves finish in lace cuffs, and the buttoned placket is worked in the same lace. It is cut for fall and winter evenings, charity galas, and black-tie-optional events that ask for color with restraint.
Fabric
Botanical fiber lace over a fine knit base, both in deep forest midnight green, with lace embroidery worked through the collar, cuffs, and buttoned placket. The plant-based fiber gives the lace a fluid drape rather than a stiff hand, the green holds under warm and cool evening light, and the embroidery is finished tightly so it keeps its shape through a long evening.
