Description
The Jody Lace A-Line Dress in Bordeaux is a deep wine knee-length A-line dress with long sheer sleeves, lace at the neckline, cuffs, and hem, and a soft metallic sheen woven into the cloth. It is made for the woman who has a fall or winter evening ahead of her, a wedding, a gala, an anniversary dinner, and wants to stand, sit, and dance through all of it without once adjusting a sleeve. The A-line skirt flatters across body types and decades, and the long sleeves keep their coverage from the first toast to the last song.
Fabric
84% botanical weave, 10% metallic fibers, 6% elastane. The metallic fibers catch light as a quiet sheen rather than a sparkle, which gives the bordeaux depth under warm evening lighting and in photographs. Lace runs along the neckline, the cuffs, and the hemline. The long sleeves are sheer with lace at the wrist. The elastane gives the dress shape recovery across a full evening. Fit
True to size, with a softly structured bodice and a defined natural waist. The A-line skirt falls from the waist with enough volume for ease and enough structure to hold its line. The long sheer sleeves fit true to arm measurement. Between sizes, choose the smaller for a closer bodice line or the larger for more ease through the skirt. Measurements are in the Luna sizing guide. The model is 5 foot 9 inches and wears size 2. The length is 39” from the back of the neck to the hem on a size 2.
